I went to this Spur 20/06/2026 with my family to celebrate my cousins birthday. The server was very friendly, pleasant and on time. The amtomsphere and interior design of the restaurant is absolutely super and the food is absolutely DISGUSTING. Firstly we had the mac and cheese from the kiddies menu as a starter its came freezing cold we sent it back. When it came back it was not like all the other spurs we ate from, the sauce was dry and pastey and not flavourful. When the food came that's when the nightmare on Elm Street began. When I lived in the area I used to frequent this Spur regularly, 9 out of 10 visits it was quite lovely, with great service from management and the friendly staff were always accommodating, for the older folk who might be looking for a venue change that is somewhat budget friendly for the most part, I would recommend the spices chicken liver or the Crummbed Mushrooms & for the sweet tooth the Bar-One chocolate lava pudding, is scrumptious with coffee to wash it all down, all for under R200.00. When I am in the area again it will sure be on my "todo list". Keep up the good work guys & see you soon!

Being regulars at Red Oak, today's experience was a little disappointing. Your front of house seems to be oblivious of new patrons, only concerned about those that are paying. I literally had to interrupt a conversation between cashier and a leaving patron to ask if we could be seated. "Oh sorry I didn't see you".. lik e I'm in your face sweetheart! Went to our table and waited another 5min for menus. We are seniors over 65's and I had to ask for the Seniors Menu where as the Indian Lady "manageress" turned and stared my wife down.
