Very disappointing and concerning experience with Jean Ave SPAR. I bought beef droëwors that had visible mold, a horrible rotten smell and a disgusting rotten taste. My wife had to spit it out after tasting it.
I returned to the store again today to complain, but the manager implied there was nothing wrong with it, which I find completely unacceptable.
This is not the first incident I've had with food from this store. Food showing mold and smelling and tasting rotten should never be sold to customers.

I don't shop there often, however I go there when I'm in the area. They have great specials and tasty cakes and pastries. Pity they did not have the fruit and veg special today. Spar Highveld has this special every Wednesday.

Very convenient place, really love the operating hours. Reason for my rating, bought their droewors Biltong, please stay away from it, that stuff will make you sick. I confidently bit into it and it tasted disgusting, old, rotten, just vile. I didn't want to drive all the way back for R30 biltong but you guys need to do something about or the health inspector needs to look into this.
