After 6 months of back and forth to get any sort of service from the online portal, or the Pinetown office, I received a call from Darryn Thomas from the Chatsworth office and was promptly assisted. Very happy with his service thus far.

As an unemployed person I first contacted the UIF Call Center they advised I visit the nearest Office?This UIF OFFICE doesn't issue a Certificate of Unemployment for issue to Medical Aid or Municipal? They only issue for Hospital and School???? This is absolutely disappointing and frustrating....Travel cost is already high .What policy is this ????? 🤔 You can process for School but not Medical Aid.Yet Medical Aid requires this documentation from UIF ???

d like to leave a positive review but Unfortunately most people like me have had bad experiences at the Chatsworth branch they should have online the real operating hours which is 2 o'clock max 3 o'clock because by half past three they stop with new applications and tell the people already waiting inside to come back tomorrow but again you must follow the line from the back and if you come late after 2 the security guard will tell you to come back tomorrow early some people are working and cannot get early leave or afford ti too off when you applying for a family member who has a chronic illness and no longer ab…
