What an excellent itinerary and an incredibly comfortable, spacious, and luxurious bus. The trip was smooth and so well thought out — I honestly didn’t expect a bus ride to be this enjoyable!
The staff were exceptional — friendly, professional, and always going the extra mile. They truly made the tour unforgettable. Manager, please don’t change the team — they are the reason customers will keep coming back!

Using Protea Tours from Durban to the Kaapsehop race in Mpumalanga was the worst experience. There was no communication after payment about travelling arrangements. The itinerary came a few days before the tour after asking for it. It came with just 1 night instead of the 2 that was advertised on the poster for months. When runners who were part of the tour queried the last minute change, we were told it was a “ misprint “,sent an insincere sorry with a take it or leave it tone, despite paying for 2 days.
