Appauling service from the gentlemen at Cellc. Was told to bring my ID in for a sim swop, but when I got to the shop, they asked me to get an un rica sim card from Ackermans or a Pakistani shop and do it online. Chatsworth Centre Cellc is the worst with customer service.

Pathetic service from all the staff at the Cell C Chatsworth Centre store. On 23 January 2026, I visited the store for a simple query that could have been resolved within 15 minutes. Instead, all five staff members were extremely rude, uninterested, and more focused on their phones than assisting customers. I was completely ignored, and to make matters worse, I was laughed at as I walked out. There was absolutely no professionalism, customer service ethics, or basic respect shown. Extremely poor service. If I could give a zero star I would. Pathetic service for elderly clients. My Gran went through because he number stopped working, she was told to go and buy a new sim card from Pep. Once she bought the sim from Pep and went back to the store, she was then told they cannot help her because she was supposed to purchase it from the store! My dad then told them this was what was told to them by a consultant. Reluctantly they were helped and her SIM card is still not working! Customer service at Chatsworth centre is absolutely appalling. Will be reporting this to head office as well.
